Dudhwa National Park

BEST TIME TO VISIT DUDHWA NATIONAL PARK

The ideal time to visit Dudhwa National Park is from November to April, when the weather is pleasant, making it perfect for wildlife spotting. The park is open to visitors from 15th November to 15th June, and jeep safari timings are from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

SEASONAL BREAKDOWN

  • Winter (November to February): This is the best time to explore the park. Temperatures range from 20°C to 30°C, creating a comfortable and refreshing atmosphere for both visitors and wildlife. However, winter months are popular, so expect more visitors during this period. Be sure to bring warm clothing as it can get chilly, especially between December and February.

  • Summer (March to June): Dudhwa experiences intense heat from March to June, with temperatures soaring up to 40°C. While the park is still open, the hot and humid weather can be uncomfortable, making it harder to enjoy your safari fully.

  • Monsoon (July to October): The park is closed during the monsoon months. The rains rejuvenate the forest, but this is also the breeding season for many species, so Dudhwa remains off-limits to visitors from July until mid-November.

Overall, November to April offers the best weather conditions for a memorable safari experience in Dudhwa National Park, with winter months being especially ideal.
